A wonderful, multi award-winning station opened in 1845 and a floral delight, still served by regular mainline trains on the Norwich to Cambridge line. Winner of National Rail Awards 'Small Station of the Year' 2006. Home of the Brief Encounter Restaurant and Coffee Shop famed for it's home-cooked lunches and afternoon teas and voted one of the UK's Top Ten Station Eateries in 2009.

A real gem to be going here! It's do very quaint a real step back in time. You can have a meal here as well and you can eat in the real old part of the station as well which is really nice.

A museum and restaurant in one. Watch the trains go by and stroll around the memorabilia. Wymondham Railway Station has been used for many film and television productions and when you visit you'll see why.

Looks very well done and although there were no steam trains running on the day we visited it was good to see things like the old crossing gates etc. A real joy.
