Open all year round, Finkley Down Farm has a massive indoor play barn with different areas for different age ranges. There's lots of outdoor play as well, with pedal go carts, mini ride on tractors, sandpit and trampolines. Throughout the day there are animal handling and feeding activities for children to get involved in. Reptiles and Birds Of Prey have now been added to a Farm-tastic family day out. Pony rides (extra charge) take place at weekends and in school holidays. Events are held during the year with the Easter Extravaganza, Superheroes Weekend, Teddy Bears Picnic, Summer Spectacular. Halloween Half Term and Magical Christmas. Watch out for appearances by children's TV characters such as Peppa Pig and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I took my little cousins aged 6, 9 and 13. We stayed for 5 hours and the kids didn't complain of being bored. Lots of activities going on - we held rabbits, fed lambs, rode a pony, watched the falconry display and watched the sheep race. These were all well spread through the day with some of them being repeated... More

We had a great family visit to the farm on Easter Monday. Our favourite part of the day was the K & H Falconry Display. If you are going to the farm, this is a MUST SEE! These beautiful majestic creatures are incredible to watch in action along with plenty of key facts about each individual bird and their habit... More

This farm has excellent indoor and outdoor play facilities. The staff are very friendly and there are regular demonstrations the best of which are the birds of prey. The food is good value and tasty. For example you get three local butcher sausages with chips and beans for less than £6. There is no tractor ride as there are on... More

Lots of farm animals, a huge indoor soft play, and lots of outdoor space with a sandpit that my daughter loved! My only grumble was that the indoor picnic area was really messy and there was food all over the floor but it was a busy saturday so it may have just been the volume of people there at lunchtime.... Had a great time with my family! Children had a wonderful time looking at all the animals, feeding the goats, grooming a pony, playing in the sandpit, playing on the tractors, playing on the park, indoor play and much more! Really liked the way the soft indoor play was separated by ages and had a designated bit for the under... More
