Museums aren't exactly the number one place for couples to go but since me and my fiancée have only just moved here, we wanted to learn the culture. It's a great museum with loads of information. Would 10/10 recommend.

We had coffee and cake at the little restaurant within the museum. The pieces of cake we had wasn't good. Rather hard and dry. And for what we received was rather expensive. Unless things change, we won;t return. Staff slightly stand offish.

Nice museum and a lovely little cafe also. Dropped in as a sentimental journey for my wife as she was born in fareham. Enjoyed the museum and the cafe was very welcoming.

A lovely building seemingly often walked past. Once inside a museum of local history, a small and friendly gift shop and a quaint Cafe, not heaving like others on the High Street. An ideal visit for a few minutes quiet-step back in time and also...More

A beautiful building crammed full of fascinating historical data about Fareham. If you ever wondered who Henry Cort was, or why the town was once famous for chimney pots, the answers lie therein. There are also sad tales being told there. No matter how long...More
