Sammy Miller MBE is a motorcycling legend, 11 times British Champion, winner of over 1400 events and still winning competitions more than 50 years after his first victory. The Museum houses one of the finest collections of fully restored motorcycles in the world, including factory racers and exotic prototypes, with the collection constantly evolving as new bikes are acquired. There are over 400 rare and classic motorcycles on display in four galleries - one of which showcases the fabulous Norton Collection. The museum is set within an attractive courtyard, with tea rooms, craft shops and children's play area. It is also home to many chickens, donkeys, goats, alpacas and two aviaries.

I'd been meaning to visit this place for several years, and finally got round to it. Why did I wait so long ? If you have even just a passing interest in motorcycles (and I love them !) you will not be disappointed. The range of machines on display is simply astonishing. Almost all of them are in pristine condition,... More

Lots of friendly animals outside for the kids to look at, brilliant cafe. A beautiful place to go out for lunch for an hour or two.

We visited the museum whilst we're on a short break to the south coast and the Isle of Wight. The entrance fee was a very reasonable £8.50 and as a motorcyclist for over 50 years and having worked in the bike trade for 40 years to say I was impressed would be a massive understatement! The bikes and exhibits were... More

I needed a day out to blow the cobwebs away and take my bike out for a blat. So glad I came here. There is a great "tea room" that does a monster bikers breakfast all day for £8 and the museum is right next door. In the heart of the new Forrest this is well worth a visit! Vintage... More

Great museum, lot of historically important bikes, spend the time to read about the bikes and be sure to ask questions. Good cafe next door as well.

So, we didnt visit the museum, but spent alot of time around the vicinity , the play area, the chickens, cockrels, turkeys, llama's and goats. We then had lunch at the cafe. The chef and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The best bit was the home made cakes, highly recommend the chocolate cake.
