We first visited about 20 years ago under it's old guise as the New Forest Owl Sanctuary and can honestly say that despite claims of many improvements being made since the change of ownership in 2005 we couldn't tell what had changed. The place looks really tired and run down, just a coat of paint would improve the appearance. The cafe was really... I attended one of the birds of prey studio days here with captive light photography. I really enjoyed the day. Miles the photography man was really helpful and knowledgeable giving tips and advice for me the beginner! The liberty's staff where great really knowledgeable about the birds and very considerate for their well being. A lovely lunch was provided for... More

I cannot fault how lovely the birds were and variety of them. Reptiles looked happy enough and one of them seemed to take a liking to me! It's a shame to see such wonderful animals in captivity but a necessity none the less. Staff were tentative to the animals and seemed busy cleaning out cages and feeding them. We spent... More

Myself and my father were gifted a falconry experience day as birthday gifts from another family member; though we both love birds of prey and have been to several different raptor centres before, this was the first time either of us has been able to get close and hands-on with the birds. Suffice to say we both came away amazed... More

A nice couple of hours spent looking round at all the birds of prey and reptiles, and watching the flying display. The few staff that were there are friendly and informative and helpful. We spent some time talking with the lady owner of the place, who has put in every thing to try and bring Liberty's back from the very... More

Really nice place to visit, learned lots about different types of birds and really enjoyed the show with different birds, especially the two owls at the end.

I recently visited with 12 girlfriends for a hen do, we joked as we went in that they probably don't see many hens through their doors! Watched a brilliant flying display & had a quiet word with the speaker. Our hen got to hold an owl & we had a very informative talk by a volunteer. He also told us... More
