Great place to have in Cowes and independently owned. The owner, Tom, was only too happy to serve and give samples of what he had on. We also got a takeaway to bring home which is a brilliant idea for the new Covid world that we live in.

My fiancée and I were greeted very warmly by the bartender - a very charming and professional man - who talked us through the ale's and cider's available, a wide and varied selection. Cowes Ale House is a cosy pub which everyone should visit, if not for the beer, then for the company. We'll be back!…

Always a good choice of ales but not too many that they go off. They also stock other local drinks including Mermaid Gin. We regularly attend the quiz on Wednesday evenings and thoroughly enjoy everything about it. Great beer, great quiz and lots of fun. Get there early though - it’s not a big pub!…
