We have been coming to this restaurant for many years and this year we were disappointed. Whilst we had 6 oysters and a fairly dear bottle of wine to pay just under £100 for a starter portion of mussels and half a crab is expensive. Our service was lacklustre and left a lot to be desired, that was definitely our last visit

Great food in a great atmosphere. Lovely menu and fish board. Definitely the kind of restaurant you need in the area. Can’t be missed

Had crab and whitebait. Well cooked. The crab is served with a rock on a board to smash its shell. Good local ale available. Turned out to be surprisingly good.

Having looked around Yarmouth for somewhere a bit nicer to eat we are glad we found this restaurant. We did have to book as could not get in the first time. The menu is not huge and is mainly (but not entirely) seafood based. However my food (baked sea bream) was excellent as was the wine and the service so I am not complaining.

Stopping in Isle of Wight for a few days and found this restaurant whilst looking around Yarmouth. Nice relaxed upstairs restaurant and very friendly service. I had the ribs and my partner the lobster. Food was excellent and portion size very good value for money. Mainly fish courses but judging by my own food I would recommend anything off the menu.
