It's a pier but don't expect carnival rides or penny arcades. A concrete structure with no fancy adornment. There is a restaurant at the end of the pier, which was busy. The pier is manly used for rod sea fishing. Just a pleasant way to view Deal from "out at sea"

We had a lovely lunch in the cafe at the end of the pier looking out to sea. The food was cooked to order and was very hot. Will be back.

Free to enter pier and a lovely aspect to it looking back at the quaint shops and pubs of Deal. Cafe at the end served really good food, pie and chips went down well as did the cake. Enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the place and watched several fishermen on the pier, well worth scup of tea on the pier.

Nice looking cafe at the end of the pier.. Outside tables not cleared from previous customers, so now sat with all their leftovers trying to have a coffee. Buying a coffee.. I don't think I've ever been to a cafe and not been able to view any sort of menu?? Weird!

Take a stroll along this lovely pier, enjoy some delicious food at the end of pier restaurant and then take a look back at Deal's beautiful seafront. Great for fresh air freaks!

I call it the Special Pier as it in a very special town. It is a lovely little walk especially as you can now walk your dog on the pier and at the far end you can turn and see the complete outline of the quaint seaside town of Deal. There is also a cafe at the end of the... More

Built in 1957, this is a brutalist type structure, interesting to visit. Has a restaurant at the end.

Excellent value breakfast , however tea insipid and coffee tasteless. Nice walk along the pier not too far, pleasant sittingbon benches looking out to sea.
