One of a kind and vital to the crews of sailing vessels when the area between the shore and the Goodwin Sands was a major anchorage.

Small museum with lots of information on timekeeping and ways of signalling messages. The introductory video gives a good explanation but is somewhat dated (and comical in parts). The views from the top floor are very good.

Small local museum stuffed with chronological and naval exhibits. Highlight for me was the 18 minute film explaining time measurement with the aid of stonewashed denim, ham acting and fantastic 80s music. £3 well spent.

This is a fantastic and very interesting place to visit, with lots of maritime history. It only costs £3 to get in, so also very good value for money. Allow approx. 1 to 2 hours.
