What a lovely but slightly quirky museum this is, packed full of local memorabilia this is a little gem waiting to be explored. My only slight criticism is that it was a tad jumbled up and needs a bit of reorganising to show the exhibits...More

This is a great little museum and well worth a visit. There is so much inside, its far bigger than it looks. There is even a small row boat that actually was at Dunkirk. There is lots of history going right back to the 17/1800s....More

We went on a heritage open day, not expecting very much but what a great little museum housing an eclectic mix of local history. Loved it!

Recommend this place if you are at all interested in anything to do with the sea, also town history. Run by volunteers who are totally involved in the history of Deal. Cost hardly a thing to look around this most interesting place.

If it wasn't for the 'wheels of time' initiative I don't even think I would have known about this place! It is a very small museum and won't take long to get around, but this is reflected in the price. The quiz sheet made it...More
