Could spent hours walking around. The architecture, history and magnificent shabbiness is worth a look day and night.

You cannot have a trip to Deal and not take a stroll down Middle Street. The lovely old homes with the rounded corners hark back to a time of fishing boats and scally wags. The Ship Inn and Middle Street Fish Bar and a must...More

Deal can only be described as quaint and quirky..a lot of the properties date back to times long gone..interesting to walk around.

All the little houses are at least 300 + yrs old, beautifully maintained on their tiny narrow streets, probably the homes of fishermen and sailors of a bygone age.

Deal is a quaint town, offering a unique opportunity to sample shops not normally found in a town centre. Behind the shops are these amazing old properties, some dating back to the sixteenth century. Masses of architectural gems, all in pristine condition

Deal is not quite as well-preserved as Sandwich, but there are narrow streets and historic buildings leading down to the shore. We parked in one of the central car parks and walked through these streets to the castle. While enjoyable, the local authority could do...More

There are many that range from traditional types eaten from the paper to posh sit down restaurants that cost a fortune. A good takeaway can be found in middle street somewhere
