Peaceful & picturesque

Even on a misty day, a deliteful soothing walk. Lovely sandy beach with the chorus of seagulls, refreshing salty aire and calming sounds of the sea.

Lovely sandy beach and beautiful sunsets. Good for paddling when the tide is out or just sitting on the steps looking out to sea

It took us 10 mins to sort out our route away from this God... More

It was very foggy the day we went to Margate so we couldn't see much of the beach. However it is a very nice area to walk around. You can walk on the sandy beach, in the summer it is very busy with sun seekers and children playing. Close to beach are several places of interest to visit, museums, bars.... More

Whilst this beach is infamous for welcoming cockneys and 'Kiss me quick hats', there are far better beaches if you head towards Botany Bay. Viking Bay, Broadstairs, or Joss Bay. The beach here is sandy and ok, but nothing special.
