Well worth a visit as nice selection of restaurants and cafes plus micro brewery and art gallery. Good place to sit in the sun and try a local beer for an hour.

It is worth taking a stroll out here when the weather is nice for the views of Margate. I have never tried any of the eateries here although I was warned against a pub on the Harbour Arm by a local who claimed he was charged £4 for half a pint.

Once the domain of fishermen and net makers this location now boasts a wide range of cafes, art gallery, micro pubs and café bars.It extends into the Harbour so you can sit inside or outside there locations and enjoy a view of the historic Old Town and Main Sands. The Lighthouse Bar is a favourite.

Great views from one side the town sea frontage and from the over side the channel. Worth a walk to the end. Plenty of parking but tight for long cars.

Margate is a typical British seaside town, its a bit run down but there are plans afoot to rejuvenate the area. However there are lots of positives, lovely view across the sea and the Margate Harbour Arm is worth a walk along to blow the cobwebs away.

Worth a walk along the harbour wall, particularly in the crisp winter air with bright sunshine and clear skies. Tremendous views back across the whole Margate bay. Cafe and a bar at the end of the harbour arm.

such lovely views and as the light changes and the tide changes then photos are superb. pleasant to walk along and there is paid parking, needs some parking skills as quite narrow arm

I'm not sure why we visited. My son wanted to take me to someplace "new", and somehow we ended up here. It was a blustery day, but sunny, so in theory this should have been a fun day out, but the Harbour Arm depressed me. Yes, we were here out of season, but still.
