The museum is much larger than it appears. There are loads of fascinating exhibits and most interesting history of the town. As has been said by others the staff are not only friendly but extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. A most enjoyable...More

Only £2 entry, knowledgeable staff, and plenty of interesting exhibits. Who knew Margate was bombed so much in both wars?

Lovely little museum, illustrating the history of Margate from the very early ages to modern times. The staff is very friendly and eager to help if you have any questions. The entrance fee is only £2 and it is well worth it. Sadly no photos...More

A very pleasant experience was had by all of the family at this museum . We was given a guided tour by very friendly staff .. Very welcoming.. also very insightful and we came away from there having learnt loads and that includes the kids...More
