Well worth a visit. The museum is in the old police station and is packed with interesting exhibits. A bonus is the enthusiastic volunteers on hand with fascinating Stories And information To Share. Can highly recommend.

Although a small museum it has a lot to offer including the history of Margate Senior citizens £1.50. You can engage with the staff who are very knowledgeable if you want. Would recommend

A very interesting place to visit to find out about the history of Margate. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand to answer questions. Fantastic value for money.

Lovely, somewhat quirky little museum that has something of interest to most people. Very enthusiastic and friendly volunteers run it and they will be as chatty or not as you wish . Not open every day so worth checking and also the Tudor house close...More

If you happen to visit Margate, this is a place to be. Very interesting exhibitions and very helpful staff. Spent there quite a while. Every time I go to Margate, I make sure I visit. Always something really intriguing there to see.
