The Pharmacy Gallery may not be an attraction in it's own right, but if you are in the area it is worth dropping in. The gallery not only sells pieces of art work but they also run community focussed art projects, a great initiative. If you go to the Museum across the road you can see a restored donkey used in the 1960's to take seaside photos with children sat on it, I was told this was restored by people with learning difficulties. Set amid the arts regeneration neighbourhood of Margate's Old Town, the Old Pharmacy Gallery is the shop front for community arts groups' workshops elsewhere in the building. Project Workers are on site. I have bought two interesting pieces here produced by people attending their classes. It's worth a look, and prices are low.…
