A really great night spent in The Hoy. We had my Nephew's 21st Birthday party there Saturday night, as it was a private party David closed it to the public which we really appreciated. Grace and Charlotte done a great job behind the bar, Thanks girls. The venue was free we just paid for the DJ and Buffet very reasonable, plenty of hot and cold food. We were able to put up banners and embarrassing photos (that's a must lol ) We had such a variety of age groups so plenty of seating for those who wanted it, but still loads of room for the dancing. If you are looking for a party venue then this is great and would recommend to anyone wanting to hold a party no matter what age it's for.. Once again a really big thank you to all for making this a special time.

Met friends in Margate on Saturday afternoon and decided to stop here for a drink before going elsewhere. As it was such a lovely day we sat outside. It's a great location, over looking the beach. Our husbands both ordered a lager and we had Pimms. It was one of the nicest jugs of Pimms I've ever had. Lovely fresh strawberries and mint. Delicious. Claire, one of the staff, was really friendly, chatty and helpful. She even talked us in to returning that evening to watch the football. Clean loos, friendly staff and great location.

Went here as part of a group because a bill outside advertised a Jam Tribute. Well that was stretching things somewhat. The advertised singer did do several Jam numbers but 'I'm Believer' by the Monkees hardly qualifies. I was also disappointed by the limited real ale choice and what was offered wasn't particularly enjoyable. Having said that this is a clean, well ordered establishment and most customers were having a good time. In fairness to the singer/musician he was way above average. All the same I thought this was a blatant misrepresentation. It wasn't what it said on the tin.

We popped into this pub as it was showing the rugby and everywhere else had the football. The staff were friendly but the bar itself lacked some character. But overall was a pleasant enough space for s couple of drinks.
