First time at the railway showing our cars. Both my granddaughter (12 years) & grandson (7years) thoroughly enjoyed a lovely day, with plenty to see and do. The trains, carrages and steam engines were beautiful. The volunteers were very helpful and knowledgeable and really enjoyed working there. Lovely picnic areas, cafe & shop. The model railway was very impressive and the museum very informative. Lovely walks which my dogs enjoyed. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and family friendly. I Highly recommend - a good day out.…

Never been here before but what a lovely place to visit. Set in past times the decor throughout gave a feel of what it may of been like. scenery so beautiful. Bluebells throughout. Jump aboard the old steam trains and have a nice ride all around. Even hop aboard a tractor ride. Ample amount of parking and grass land to have a picnic. Cafe not overly priced. Definitely one to head for when the weather is nice. Good way to spend part of our Easter Day…
