The High Street is peppered with coffee shops, Starbucks and the like, much frequented by the DFLs (Down from Londoners). This is quite different. A tranquil ambience and excellent cakes and coffee. Light lunches are also available. It also doubles as an educational venue for the not so fortunate who assist with fitchen duties.…

A lovely church opening out of the high street. Unusually it has a nice cafe in foyer. beautiful beams and stain glass windows.

This is one of the most welcoming churches you'll find. We popped in on a Tuesday to find a good church cafe with hot food & cakes. The people were very pleasant & the cake stall was run by a charity, so it was even more tempting. Well done everyone.
