This house is well worth a visit. The house itself is steeped in history and it is set within a fabulous park ,with play area and a wonderful walled garden which is looked after by volunteers.

Great history.. Beautiful hall inside and out..gardens and water fountains were very picturesque.. Staff fantastic couldn't fault them..free entry and free parking..all in all had an amazing day with the family..defiantly will be going back.. Highly recommended

Sunday morning strolls. Lovely cafe. A really interesting exhibit around the Chorley pals from ww1, with interactive exhibits. Worth a visit. I found it quite emotional. Great play area for children as well.
