A hidden Gem

An amazing waterfall in the grounds of the green dragon. Definitely worth a visit and an explore. a Pity some of the paths were closed and the cafe could do with some TLC.

It's wrong, just wrong. This is a spectacular waterfall and charging to see it is just wrong. Have some faith people will buy a beer / coffee but by charging you just come across as mercenary and not a good advert for a wonderful part of the world.

Walked from Hawes to Hardraw Force on a round-trip-route which was really pretty. Stopped for a few pints at the pub by the waterfall which was a nice stop off.

I'm told it's where Kevin Costner did his having a bath bit in Robin Hood. Nice little walk to get there easy access and a lovely setting. Only thing it's privately owned so there's a charge £2.59 adult £1.50 children, but worth it.

The waterfall is along a wonderful walk along the creek and is nice to see. However, £2.50 per person just to enter is not my idea of encouraging tourists to visit the attraction. Probably spent about 15 minutes all up, but that's only because it was really "my thing".

A colleague of mine recommend Hardraw Force to me as a little stop before I headed to the Lake District. I was not dissapointed, it was a lovely afternoon out.

Myself and my husband had a stroll up to Hardraw force, entrance is through the pub in Hardraw and there is a fee of £2.50 per person. It's not a long walk up to the falls but they are very pretty. I wouldn't say this is a must see when there are other water falls in the area you can... More

Just wow, love this place, the quaint pub, the walk to the falls and just simply beautiful. Had an amazing day and simply tranquil to get away from it all. The owner is very polite and will stop and say hello to you and the staff who run it overall are really pleasant. It is not sign posted which we... More

A short walk from the car park area, although we didn't pay at the pub - it was a little coffee shop area behind the pub (perhaps this is a recent change). The falls themselves are pretty, and I can imaging when there has been more rain, spectacular. You can walk behind them which is cool. Watch your footing, there... More

We went to see Hardraw Force. The falls themselves are lovely but you have to pay £2:50 to go through the pub. There is NO reduction for the elderly - we took our 90 year old father and 84 year old Auntie. There is no other access without going through the pub. Perhaps a complimentary cuppa at the end would... More
