The Barrels Ale House is a CAMRA award winning real ale and live music pub tucked away on the corner of Bridge St and Bridge End close to the tweed bridge.We pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike. Check out or website and facebook page for up to date information about entertainment bookings in our cellar bar venue and about the most recent guest ales available. We have beer from all over the UK but some of our favourites are Stewarts, Fyne Ales, Wylam, Tempest, Hadrian & Border, Highland Brewing, Houston......We welcome all feedback and look forward to welcoming you to our unique little pub.

Good selection of guest ales in here ,good decor and nice character,lady working there very friendly and welcoming just the sort of person needed to welcome you into this establishment ,will defiantly return when next visiting Berwick .

We popped in for a drink on our way out for a meal and received a warm welcome from the staff and locals. Loved the quirky decor and ambiance - a great place.

Excellent range of well kept real cask ales. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly pub, the staff offered water for the dog. Several good pubs nearby but we made this our local whilst staying in Berwick, even though it was quite a long walk for us....More

A must have been for all Berwick visitors. Brillant ales, regular changed. Perfect to explore the world of ales if you stay long enough in the area. Pub with great athmospere and nice and friendly staff. My local when I m here.

They have a telly but it is rarely on. They usually show rugby 6 nations and not much else.
