We stayed in forest holidays for mon-fri and walked here a couple of times. We've been to many forestry commission places and found SP to be spacious, very clean and friendly staff. Would certainly recommend.

Hi no camping in Sherwood Pines at the moment but there are plans for the future. The nearest one is Sherwood Forest Holiday Park at Kings Clipstone but it is a couple of miles away.
