Great little farm

Great little farm to wander over to from the haven site. Cafe was lovely with lovely views of the horses. Great shop full of yummy food.

We took the kids here whilst on holiday in Somerset. We were so disappointed. There were lots of empty cages/enclosures. The most exotic thing was the Raccoon. They said lots of animals had had to go due to the red tape of keeping them! The Macaws just made me sad as one of them had barely any feathers on its... More

Seems to be going down hill. Past years this has been the place to be. Lovely food and great for the kids. Now many animals have gone and the food was poor. A real shame, we loved it here.

Oh Dear! What a disappointment. We visited this a year ago and I gave it a rave review, couldn't fault it. After checking their website and seeing that everything was apparently the same, we made a journey of several hours from Devon to go again. We arrived to find only two cars in the car park, on a Saturday. A... More

Visited doniford farm today,we went to buy breakfast ingredients for our holiday from their farm shop.was disappointed to discover that they only had eggs.tried the cafe which we could not fault.food was lovely.....now the farm....this needs work(which is underway) most of the animals looked unkept, all the caged animals looked like they had seen better days.was quite an eye opener.

A lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Easy walk from the Doniford Bay Caravan Park. Food available for lunch break or afternoon tea.

Adjacent to Doniford Bay caravan park, this was a nice way to spend an hour or two, with a pleasant restaurant, and a selection of interesting farm animal breed to observe. Sadly, a collection of slightly more exotic fauna is being disposed of, due to overbearing regulations aimed at large-scale zoos. The proprietors are making a good effort to counter... More

As a family with two young girls we have often visited here. It's always been brilliant. The restaurant was always a little pricey but due to the amount there was to see and do there we were always more than willing to pay it and also give a generous donation. Before our visit on Sunday we were already aware that... More

Short walk from caravan site. Many animals to see here, then wander through gift shop, farm shop into restaurant. There is seating outside, Service and food excellent.

This is the 3rd time I have visited the farm and sadly it wasn't as much fun as before. Previously it had a large collection of animals and many small shops which provided lots of time to browse. Due to a change in ownership and increased regulations the large majority of exotic animals are no longer houses there. The signs... More
