Simply Fantastic!

Me and my other half took our almost 4 year old for the Halloween festivities. It was absolutely wonderful!! All the rides in CBeebies land are great for the adults and little ones alike. Que times were approximately 5-10 minutes which was great and there were things to occupy little ones whilst you were queuing such as activity walls. Justins sensory garden is a lovely place if you need a little bit of quiet time. The main cafe in the CBeebies land does have a limited menu but what we had was lovely! In fact I’ve never known my little one to eat so much! There is also lots for little ones to do in the main park. We especially enjoyed the Aquarium and the arcade. There were also lots of musical performances in the streets of the park as it was Halloween season which was good fun to watch. I’d also recommend having a walk around the Alton towers gardens themselves. There are a lot of steps but it’s a lovely walk with fantastic park views. All in all we can’t wait to go back again 😊

Disappointed and underwhelmed
Sep 2021 • Family
I came here with my husband and 2.5year old as she is a big fan of hey duggee, peter rabbit and the like. Considering you have to pay full park entry to attend this, I found the cbeebies land really really poor value. Luckily we had a voucher for a free adult otherwise we could have spent over £100 attending today. I felt even our half price ticket meant we were hard done by. The live shows were very good and very much the right level for my young daughter pkus there are photo opportunities at these too which was nice... but I was disappointed to find she was unable to go on ALL the rides in this section of the park considering its aimed at toddlers. Thomas Land (for which you pay almost as much) has far more in terms of toddler friendly rides plus there's a zoo to get a bit more of the day for your money. The one restaurant/snack bar in this part of the park is also lacking in terms of space? offerings and value for money with absolutely no gluten free options on offer for my daughter.
If you want somewhere to take an under 5... Thomas land provides far more entertainment and enjoyment for your hard earned money! Don't waste it here!

Lovely day out for toddlers
Aug 2021 • Family
So good for toddlers! I would recommend waiting until your toddler/child is bigger than 0.9m as there were quite a few things my one year old couldn’t go on. But we knew this before booking as all the height requirements are on the website. Despite him being too small for a few, he could go on the postman pat ride, in the night garden boat ride, bugbie go round, and the treetop adventure. He loved it! The cafe in CBeebies land was expensive but had lots of options like a picnic box with sandwich, crisps fruit and drink, and you do expect things like Alton towers to be expensive anyway. We went in august and it wasn’t too busy at all. Characters like Peter rabbit, upsy daisy were always walking around for pictures which was nice. Also a big CBeebies land gift shop.

Fun trip to Cbeebies Land
Sep 2021 • Family
Our 2 children aged 6 and almost 2 had a brilliant time at Cbeebies Land, not a huge amount of rides for them but we went on most of them more than once during our 2 day visit as we stayed overnight in the cbeebies hotel. There were lots of nice shows and character meet and greets as well as a nice play area too. Wouldn't say you could make a day of it though unless you see all of the shows and keep repeating rides, so we went in to the rest of alton towers too, they enjoyed the sky ride but otherwise there wasn't really anything my youngest could do. My eldest was able to go on a few things I the David Walliams part which was the only bit I think that was suitable for her age really. In Cbeebies land there was a cafe which was over priced in my opinion for what it was. £5 meal deal for kids which gave them half a cheese sandwich, a drink carton and packet of crisps, I've seem similar kids meal deals for £4.50/£5 that give 5 items from a selection.
The staff throughout cbeebies land are very friendly, always smiling and made the experience a lovely one overall and the kids didn't want to leave which is a good sign!

Absolute Chaos! Not worth the bother!!
Aug 2021 • Family
Visited here for a 2 night stay with a day pass to cbeebies land. All I can say is Peppa Pig world puts this place to shame. 20 minute walk from car park to entrance. Or you can use the mono-rail but on the way in it wasn't well sign posted. Given the queue to get in at 10am it took us until 10:30 to park up and then another 20 minutes walk and a queue up to enter the actual park. It was one queue after another with zero social distancing and mask wearing and it was just rammed and chaotic. There are very few rides which means that the queue for each one can be over an hour long. To wait with little ones in such long queues are tiring. The entrance to the park was very disorganised and not well staffed so no one available to ask questions. I actually feel like it was a stressful waste if time. My son is 20 months and he patiently waited for each ride but we won't be coming back. Next year we'll be back to Peppa Pig where we have been twice with my daughter.

The queues really lessen the fun
Aug 2021 • Family
I know it's difficult to manage but they need to do something about the queues. It's an expensive day out and it's made worse when you realise that your paying to stand and be corralled down steel corridors for what can be 60+ minutes for a 2-3 minute ride. Difficult to justify if it were just you but with two young kids (5 and 3), it's pretty difficult to enjoy. The park is good, clean and the staff are pleasant enough but it's fundamentally let down by the lack of virtual queuing which in 2021 is pretty unforgivable. Wouldn't go again and would advise others to be aware of just how long you will wait between rides.

Disappointing experience
Aug 2021 • Family
Visited with young family- 4yr old, twins 2yrs old. 20 mins car park to entrance with double buggy on an uneven dirt track. Waiting times incredible eg 400 mins for one ride, 90mins for Treetop ride, 45mins for Postman Pat. Obviously Postman Pat was main ride my 4yr old went on. Twins - no rides because of waiting times. Prams can’t queue so no chance of queuing for very long periods with toddlers! (Take note Park Organisers).
Hey Duggee Show wonderful and made up for disappointments. Impromptu sightings of characters were a plus. A very expensive day out - why does the Adults Entrance fee have to be so expensive. Organisation needs a serious rethink. Having spent over £120 entrance fee an experience which should have been magical- wasn’t!!

Fast tracking
Aug 2021
We have just come back from a weekend break here, we all had a great time. we were very disappointed thou at the length of all the ride queues, each ride was at least one hour long just to get onto. The annoying thing was the people with the fast track tickets to came and went on first so you waited such a long time, I think they should defiantly be stopped. its not fair on everyone that has to wait.

Changeover times between rides ridiculous
Jun 2021 • Family
Went on a Thursday and queued from a mile away and it never stopped. The changeovers between rides were ridiculously long. I could understand if this was down to increased focus on hygiene due to the pandemic but there was no difference to when we have been in the past. For some rides it was 5 minutes and when you have a line of under 6s, this is frustrating. While CBeebies Land is a lovely idea, the issue is it could be so much more. Many of the rides are tired looking and in need of paint and attention. It could be a truly magical experience for the children but based on our visit today and the lack of any real change from 2 years ago, it is not.
