Lovely place with lots of species of birds from all over the world. We had a train ride and went inside the forest , there are birds from Robben Island,South Africa and Emu's from Australia. Also you get descriptions of birds while going around the forest in the train. There a water world with clown fish like Nemo the kids movie.The... More

Amazed with selection of birds. My husband and I just couldn't go away from kookaburra, waiting for it's laughing and couldn't stop laughing ourselves. Not expensive way to make a day out. Don't be surprised when you'll hear "hello" when passing cockatoos.

I always loved Birdworld as a child but sadly it hasnt changed in the last 30 years! The gardens are kept really well and the park has a really friendly feel but the swing that was broke last year is still broke today! The baby changing facilities are awful and definitely haven't been updated since they were installed. We had... More

Birdworld makes me sad. Sad to see the birds in small cages. Often quite dirty. Sad for the price, sad for the cafe, sad for the speed in which you can navigate round (in about an hour, though you could easily stretch this to 2) which makes the price sadder. The best bit is the sections you can walk through.... More

I booked our tickets on line and saved 25%. I went with my husband who has never been before. Saturday was a lovely sunny day so all the birds were out except some who were sitting on eggs. We arrived late morning so it wasn't too busy. There is plenty of parking. Good wheelchair and pushchair access. You can buy... More

We enjoyed a lovely day at Birdworld. Be warned that this is not as large as some wildlife parks such as Longleat etc, and I heard some visitors complaining that it "was nothing but birds" which seems confusing given the name. We enjoyed the bird show, my partner was able to interact with countless parrots, and having paid for the... More

We love Birdworld, we are annual members and visit regularly throughout the year. The birds are very well looked after and there is a good range of species. We feel that throughout the year you can see different things e.g. In the winter months towards the end of the day, the owls are more active, in the spring time you... More

Absolutely awesome place. The whole place was alot bigger than I expected! Animals well cared for and seemed happy. Cafe food was delicious also. Will certainly re-visit.

Visited during the week outside of school holidays so it was very quiet which was nice, no queues. It's quite small but there's still enough to see and amuse the children for a good few hours. There's a little train to go on and a good playground, which I think our son liked more than any of the birds! It's... More

Haven't been to Bird World for many years. Good day out for all ages of children and adults. Talks given by keepers during penguin and pelican feeding times were informative. Safari train not worth it if a really long wait. If queue is short then worth the ride as again commentary informative. Agree with others comments that it is looking... More
