A really enjoyable museum. A great history of this super town. From the original castle, to WW2, to a neat little classroom.

On a visit to Henley this is a must see ! The Heritage Centre, run by local volunteers is extremely well presented and gives a flavour of life in this market Town over several centuries. Extremely well presented ( I would say up to National Trust standard ) there is lots to see. The school room is lovely. All bringing... More

A wonderful centre portraying life in the town during various stages. Particularly liked the school room and the Anderson Shelter. What was particular good that it was free!

This is a real gem of a local history attraction in a fantastic house dating back to 1345 - and it's free! There is a very wide range of time periods covered and some amazing artefacts. From records of local events and examples of items used in everyday life, to mementos of national significance, everything was well presented. There is... More

They also had a competition for younger people to take part in whilst looking around the building. This has to be a must visit place for anyone passing through Henley, it is... More

This free Heritage Centre is in a delightful old building & is crammed with interesting material relating to life goneby in Henley. Obviously a work of love by the friendly volunteers.

Several rooms fitted out with genuine artefacts donated by local people e.g. a school room. Well worth a visit, it is free to enter but donations are very welcome and necessary to keep this lovely old house, which has been turned into a local museum, in good order.

The heritage centre in Henley in Arden is well worth a visit. There is no admission fee but you can give a voluntary contribution if you want to. There are several rooms,a garden and lots of really excellent exhibits. The volunteers we met were all very informative and enthusiastic and extremely helpful and pleasant. If you go to Henley in...
