A nice place for an evening drink and more of a 'locals' pub then the nearby Howard Arms but don't let that put you off. We had a very warm and pleasant welcome and a nice evening drink. The food menu is more various types of hot dogs and selections of what is called 'English Tapas', which were good in... More
A lovely pub. A great welcome with a friendly atmosphere. Some great beers and ciders on tap. And not forgetting a super selection of fancy gins!
This country pub has recently changed hands and should remove the previous reviews. The pub has been given a make over. They do not serve traditional pub food but a selection of English tapas. amazing english tapas served here, great idea... a proper booooozer..old style and fashion! bootifull local ales/a gin palace to boot, such friendly lovely hosts in Gary n Vicky and a 'superdog' Jack...the cockapoo!
Nice little place to stay, good rooms, great meals all very welcoming, this was just one night stopover on the way through the Cotswolds and can thoughly recommend it, be aware that front room are on the road side and if you a light sleeper could be a problem but to be fare you can't move a 16th century Inn!
I had chicken and chips which were fine but my husband had fish which was a frozen battered portion!!!! On the plus side, the locals were lovely and friendly
