Great place to just hang out, and get a tan. There's really no big rapids just an easy float down the lazy river. Good mix of people college kids and family.

It was a nice float down the river. Along the way a group of boys were making snow cones for the passer byes. It just so happens if your 12 and under children bring back any trash, they get a free ice cream. Free snow...More

I love this place, everyone is so nice and the river is lovely. A great blue heron followed us down the river, what a treat that was.

We were first time floaters and the staff was very helpful explaining our options. We went for the 3 mile ride on a raft. Overall it was a great day. Check-in process was smooth, Equipment was well maintained, grounds nice, bus ride fine. The river...More

Thanks for the review. If you found the 3 mile section to be boring, we suggest doing the 8 mile trip on kayaks. The river is faster and deeper Ion the upper section and a lot more scenic.

We take the family only once a year because it is very expensive. We only go on weekdays because it is not nearly as crowded as the weekends. This past summer we had four adults and two eight year olds. We got one canoe and...More

We usually visit Green Acres about 3 times a summer. Over the past couple of years the trips have gotten less and less enjoyable. Now with the overwhelming number of canoes and kayaks that are launched it's like I-75 on Friday afternoon. Wildlife spotting is...More

This is a great stretch of river to paddle. There are several bald eagles to see along the trip, along with other beautiful scenery along the way. The Green Acres Staff is very friendly and helpful. They seem to really care about their customers.

Hello- I am traveling with a group of 14, I was wondering if this might be a good spot for us all to be. How many apartments are there, and how many of us would be comfortable in each one? Thank you.
