Terrific market

Today was my first visit. Plenty of stalls with fresh fruit and veg, clothes, bric a brac, crafts, and hot food and drinks. Great atmosphere. Really enjoyed it.

My husband and I spent a wonderful couple of hours wandering among the many stalls, chatting with friendly stall owners and making random purchases. Plenty of very fresh fruit and veggies (we bought strawberries, blueberries, carrots, capsicum and salad greens) at reasonable prices, also a lovely couple selling a good range of honey (fennel honey ! Manuka honey $35 a... More

We had planned to spend Saturday 18th Feb 2017 at the once a year Penny Farthing National Championships and thought it must be a race in the middle of the day. Much to our delight it was an all day event of heats and novelty races. The entire town was cordoned off and the race was a circuit around the block... More

Large market held on Sundays. Lots of antiques, collectables, food, vegetables, clothes etc. However bought a leather hat at a "reduced" price of $89, afterwards found the same branded hat at $63 online at quite a few places. Apart from that we ate a Bolina from one of the stalls (food from Afghanistan) and chatted with many visitors and locals.... More

All the stalls were really well presented and owners wanted to be there. Found some super bargains and had the nicest German Snag in a bun with sour kraut. Nice varied offerings of food with ample shade. Will go again this Sunday as there are things i should have grabbed.

We visited this great market last Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to find lots of excellent fruit and veggies along with vintage bric a brac and many interesting stalls. No one was pushy and stallholders friendly and happy. Loads of stalls and plenty of eat stalls. This is a market not to miss as a tourist. Clean, fun and reasonable... More

Called in on our way from Launceston to Richmond. It is a large market with loads of interesting stalls including fresh fruit and vegetable stalls. Things seemed to be reasonably priced and there were a variety of things available. Local arts and crafts, as well as local jams and relishes were available for the locals and tourists alike. Some delicious... More

Stopped in at Evandale markets as we were driving down the Midland Highway, saw the signs and thought we would stop and have a look, we are glad we did. Twenty cents entry to the markets and a multitude of stalls to look at, a lot of knick knacks and preloaded clothes, tools and items to peruse, a lot of... More
