King Solomans Caves
Apr 2021
King Solomans Caves is about a 10 minute drive from the Mole Creek / Marakoopa Cave. Easy parking and amenites await, a short and delightful rainforest walk to the waiting area, then off you go inside a narrower and very beautiful show cave.

Fabulous experience

Amazing cave. Well preserved. The ranger who guided us knew his stuff and clearly loved this cave.

The cave is only small and has two main caverns. The entry cavern is dry but has spectacular formations.

The second cavern is wet and has more amazing formations

Definitely worth the small diversion to visit. Group size is limited to 6 visitors

Awesome experience - dress warmly!

Amazing. We did Marakoopa first and loved it so much we promptly booked this one for the afternoon. Both caves are fabulous.

Great tour guides, really interesting experience. Can't recommend these experiences more highly! Definitely a must do. Marakoopa was (in my opinion) a little more "spectacular" due to the size but King Solomans was more intricate and decorative.

Stunning caves with fascinating stalactites, stalacmites, columns, and all kinds of amazing formations. The tour guides are wonderful and really love the caves. Definitely worth more than the entry fee. Tour lasted about an hour and we loved every minute.

My brother and mother visited the cave to escape the hot weather. What a marvelous experience walking through this natural attraction and listening to the expert commentary from the Parks and Wildlife guide.

Access is somewhat restricted in certain areas of the cave but my 80 year old mother managed comfortably with some assitance and taking her time.

The tour is about 50 minutes long and enterance fees can be paid at the site using credit or debit cards no cash sales.

Temperature inside the cave is 9C but I was comfortable wearing shorts and short sleeves.

Take a camera!

We had the pleasure of doing this wonderful cave on 25-10 at 1130am. Our guide Aaron was superb and truly an asset to NP. He explained in terms for all. He challenged us and provoked thinking. What a great fella. He was brilliant.

We visited the King Soloman Caves and had Dawn as our tour guide. We were fortunate enough to get a private tour as we were the last group of the day. The caves were amazingly beautiful and Dawn was a fantastic tour guide. She was very passionate and informative throughout the entire tour. I would definitely recommend!

fantastic caves, David was a wonderful tour guide, good value for money. Must see. Also the 30 minute walking track is worth a try or you can do a 5 minute one. Take a picnic to enhance your experience.
