We took part in the Port Arthur Ghost Tour before we had walked around the site in the day, so it was an interesting perspective. The tour featured a great mix of factual history and ghost stories. Our tour guide was great! Remember to rug...More

This tour is a must for anybody interested in Australia's convict history. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on this tour. Dress warm. Tasmania has a very interesting convict history and this tour has done it's research. If I had any criticism, Alex, our tour guide,...More

We did the ghost tour with our family and left very disappointed, not sure if our expectations were just to high but we basically walked to 5 different spots in Port Arthur where our guide told a story about life at Port Arthur back in...More

Our tour guide, David was great and he conducted the tour with everyone's comfort in mind. He was well informed and we thoroughly enjoyed the time with him. Well done mate!! Hope to see you again sometime.

The Ghost Tour is worth taking. Just to experience the site and some of the buildings at night was great. The tour guide enhanced the tour with his stories and sudden stomps of his feet at certain times.

WE took the day guided day tour. It was OK, but not more. The male guide played down the misery that surely took place there in the mid 19th century and left some key things out, like the over 1000 poor souls buried on the...More

The tour must be nice and enjoyable if you're an English speaker. We came from Mexico, all bilingual but the tourist guide had no consideration whatsoever and just spoke fast and mumbling the words. The website says it starts at 6:30pm when it really starts...More

It's alright, it adds to the experience after visiting through the day. I wouldn't say it's a must do but it's an experience. I found the tour of the doctor/surgeons quarters to be the most interesting, as there is a morgue they take you to....More

For all the potential this has to be an amazing tour, given the rich history of the Port Arthur site, this fell so short. Instead of spooky historical accounts of those men and women who lived there, the guide continually gave anecdotes from people who...More

This is a great tour with the right guide and on the right night. Not sure if there is any ghost but would recommend the tour for the information you get on the site.
