A small local aquarium with a number of fish, shellfish and my favourite seahorses. Quiet place without the crowds. $6 admission. Gift shop. Worth it especially if you have young kids in tow. Tanks are not that tall, so an adult can hold a child...More

We brought our 6yr and 2yr and spent about 30minutes here and they definitely had lots of fun. It was relatively a small area but we definitely had fun exploring the seaquarium and snapping heaps of photos/videos of all the cool animals in the tanks...More

Took family 4,6,8 whilst waiting for our seal tour. Spent about 20 mins and kids loved it. Quite simple, but can see whale bones, live lobsters and giant crabs, live sea horses, fish and assorted other creatures. Good value for $15 for the family .

Great set of ponds including a touch pond for the littlest to learn about the sea creatures of the northern Tasmanian waters. Excellent value for money.

We promised our daughter a trip to the Sea Aquarium but even though we were there during apparent opening hours it was unfortunately closed. Very disappointing.

A gold coin donation to enter. There was lots to learn here. Great variety of sea animals. Changed owners recently.

Such a shame it was closing down! We enjoyed a close encounter with sealife, especially being able to handle the Hermit Crabs!
