A lovey big catamaran, first class service, informative commentary (thanks Barry!) and good weather. At 8.30 am into Macquarie Harbour, past salmon farms, through Hell's Gate (how narrow is that! - 80 metres!), up the Gordon River with many reflections and wilderness all around, a turn around at Heritage landing, a tour of Sarah Island and back to port by... First rate experience blessed as well by lovely weather. We were in the upper deck and food and service both excellent plus really comfortable leather seats. Trips to heritage landing and Sarah's island really informative. Highly recommend doing this trip.

This was an absolutely fabulous experience. From our booking at the terminal to cruise end the staff and service were excellent. I would highly recommend atrium table seating. Our booking person was Cathy. Unfortunately we didn't get the names of the two gentlemen who were our hosts on the boat. Chris was our guide on Sarah Island and he was... More

Six of us went on the cruise and it was impeccable from start to finish. Well organized and informative. The ship is immaculate and the on board buffet was both plentiful and tasty. The staff go above and beyond and a few of them joined us the next night for karaoke at the Strahan golf club and were fabulous. The... More

Comfortable boat and friendly crew. We are tall and overweight, so got advice on seating to get leg room. They advise the cheaper Atrium seats. In fact the ordinary level but window seats were excellent. Could not go upstairs due to a leg injury. the 2 tours are possible with impaired mobility. Great day out and well worth the time... More

I was excited for this trip but never thought it would turn out amazing as it did. As we were cruising towards the World Heritage Area we were surprised with common dolphins! They leapt out the water near the boat and my friend got some incredible photos of them. The tour itself was equally good, the staff were informative and... More

We were blessed with a fine sunny day and this made this incredible trip so much better. The scenery, history and massive expanse of the harbour create an experience that is hard to beat. The crew are fantastic, the lunch absolutely delicious and the 2 land walks exceptional. If you visit TAS make sure to get to the West Coast... More

This is one of those things you hear about and "have to" do, but really it wasn't that great. You sit on a boat with 220 other people, so it's really impersonal. The seat with folding tray table feels like you're on a plane. You go out to sea then back, then up the river to an underwhelming rainforest walk,... More

Heavy rain at commencment, but cleared away. Lovely lunch on board, enjoyed the commentry, the tour of Sarah Island was very informative, would have liked a bit longer on there to explore on ones own. Highy recommed the tour.
