We arrived just before the show started and were seated high up with complementary blankets to keep warm. Very engaging show with great energy, and audience participation. Tells a great story. Story is complemented by the river cruise that we did the next day. Audience...More

After a day exploring on the Gordon River Cruise, this play ended the day and complimented the cruise perfectly. It was very funny and the actors engaged with audience throughout. Highly recommended but I suggest you do the one of the cruises first.

An interesting way to experience history. Just 2 actors ( with a lot of audience participation ) told the story of a convict escape and constructed a ship at the same time. It was hilarious. It's outdoor theatre and, although a little protected from rain,...More

Do yourself a favour and go see this play whilst in Strahan. Cannot believe it was only a two cast show, the ladies were fantastic and the show was hilarious. It is Australia's longest running play and for a good reason! Be warned there is...More

A must to see. Laughed from the start. One of the best history lessons you will ever have. Most definitely would experience it again

What an amazing and entertaining way to spend the evening. The two actors did a brilliant job to entertain and amuse the audience, successfully engaging the entire audience. We laughed and cheered and clapped and played along for a great time. Thoroughly recommend it.

We had read reviews about the show and decided this time that we needed to go. It was fantastic! We were engaged right from the start after rugging up under blankets and taking in the set. The performers were funny, on point and entertained us...More

If only history class is school had been this entertaining. The story is true(ish) and gives a glimpse into the convict history of this area. A small theatre allows everyone to get in to the act and be thoroughly entertained. Definitely worth the time if...More

If I could rate this higher I would. This production with some comedy is the best live production I have seen. With a cast of 2 and audience involvement this show was better than brilliant. Show goes for 90minutes $20 with concessions. I would have...More

I think the question has been answered. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. I probably would not have gone to see it if not friends recommending it.

Just pay at the door. Try and get there early. They will do their best to find you a seat but we did see people being turned away at the last minute as the venue was full. Great show. Make the effort to see it.
