So far this has been the best of our 3 weeks in Tasmania. The yacht is well maintained and the skipper Trevor and crewman Rob are passionate and professional. Waking up in total isolation on the Gordon river was a real highlight. I can highly recommend this great tour.

This trip was a highlight of our most recent visit to Tasmania. Trevor is full of information and obviously passionate about the area. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed; the evening meal was superb and I won't forget paddling on glassy calm water in the evening.

TasTafe Cert III guiding students experienced a fantastic tour operated by Trevor and his assistant Rob. It was grea for the students to see first hand on how such a professional tour is operated. Trevor provides an excellent service to different facets of the industry including the rafting companies. We were lucky enough to encounter one such group. They were... More

This was a fantastic trip and unquestionably one of the highlights of our 10-day Tassie adventure. We joined our skipper Trevor in Stahan where we boarded the 65-foot yacht and met the other family we were sailing with before heading across Macquarie Harbour to our first stop, the infamous Sarah Island - Australia's oldest penal colony. We had the historic... More

Great being able to experience the combination of sailing in Macquarie Harbour and being able to see the beauty of the World Heritage Area from the Gordon River, being able to travel further along than the other cruises available. Trevor and Rob were both very knowledgeable, interesting and overall good hosts. The trip also involves a very short walk to... More

Overall we really enjoyed the trip, but beware - we went on the overnight rafter collection trip, which was still almost as expensive as the other overnighter. What happens is that effectively for the return part of the trip you have standing room only on the yacht because it is full of returning rafters and the deck is full of... More

We did the "rafter collection" overnight trip into the World Heritage Area. Ironic that this is the only reason the boat is allowed into the wilderness area, as the tranquility of the surroundings at the mooring was completely shattered by the rowdy rafters partying next to the yacht. Also despite being billed as a sailing trip, the boat travels under... More

We chose the overnight cruise up the Gordon River . Highly recommend this to everyone. For someone with creaking knees I had no trouble with the stairs . Left at 1pm and cruise up the Harbour with our very experienced CAptain Trevor giving a full description of the surrounds and lots of stories. StormBreaker is very comfortable . The bunks... More

We signed up for the rafter pickup (the only option available that night). This gave us the chance to sail much further up the river than the standard cruises. It was fun and fascinating. Trevor (Captain) and Rob (Mate) were knowledgable (about boats, the fishing industry, local history), passionate and did their best to make the trip special. For a... More

We had a bumpy windy wet blustery flight from Hobart into Strahan late December, Meggs had ordered our taxi from the airport to the dock, had our salad roll lunches ordered and waiting for us, we stowed our extra bags in the cruise centre, boarded the Yacht and we had farewelled the shores of Strahan and enjoyed the many tales...
