One of the best views of a lively river. Big water flow. Many will love this place. Nice 15 minute walk. Good view platform for a picture. Good drive and easy parking. You will be glad you went.

Beautiful area, amazing views once you walk out the edge of the canyon. Try and go on a clear day so you can see for miles. Good walk, ok for prams. Perfect if you want to get out of the busy town and back to nature. Make sure you call into Kaydale lodge for morning tea only about 8 mins... More

The track is about a 500m walk from the car park on a graveled path. Fairly steep uphill most of the way. The view from the platform exceptional. Wife was a bit afraid as there is a huge dropoff at the platform. Well worth the drive.

This is a great short walk (do it from top to bottom since there is 700 steps in the middle) but an nice 45min bushwalk and suitable for kids.

A beautiful drive from Ulverstone out to the Canyon. Good walking track to the viewing platform with spectacular views down into the canyon. Interesting walk with lots of plants, moss, dead wood etc. We didn't picnic or bbq but others did.

We arrived mid afternoon and completed the walk through the canyon. The views are amazing and the sound of the water running through the gorge is hypnotic. The walk isn't difficult and the paths are good. There are steep inclines but if you're not super fit just take your time and take a rest at the seats along the way.... More

A really beautiful part of the world. The circuit walk takes about 60 minutes, including sightseeing, assuming average fitness. The track is in very good condition. One section involves a climb of ~700 steps.

Our recent visit to Leven Canyon was my first visit at sunrise. The mist rising in the Canyon was breathtaking. Well worth the early rise. Tip Be prepared for a slow drive the road is alive with wildlife at this time of day.
