Great little beach that was really nice and clean i thought. You do have to pay 6.00
In cash to park but i think it’s worth it
There’s no hustle and bustle of being crowded And it’s really peaceful. There are no lifeguards on duty so swim at your own risk. They have volleyball court, picnic area with built in grilles and the sand was very clean as well as the water. The water looks dirty but it’s really the color of the sand you see.
We had a great time and will be going. Back again before we leave

Nice clean beach with a shallow cove for the kids. Happy for the opportunity to stop by. I do wish there were restrooms but that aside, I could go back.

Great spot for kids! The cove is shallow and calm enough for small kids to wade out and splash around! Nice snack shack and kayak/paddle board rental spot. Shaded picnic tables were great as well. Wish it had real bathrooms but there are portable potties.
We would visit again!

We stopped at the speech off season.
It was quiet, it was clean, it was a very peaceful beach.
I was very happy that we spent some time here!

Family really enjoyed it. Felt like a real beach at a ocean. The sand was really hot on our feet, but there was alot to do volleyball, playground, sand toys.

I had a great time at this beach! I went twice during the week. $6 to park. They had port a pottys and a shower station to rinse off. Also a place to rent floats and Water toys and not sure what else. No lifeguard on duty. The water was not deep at all, only knee to mid thigh for about 100 yards out (I'm 5'7"), which I loved because i can't swim. I got lucky and had beautiful sunny weather and on a weekday it wasn't super crowded. Would definitely go back

Not family friendly. Water was murky. Parking was $6 and cash only. No restrooms. Also not friendly or welcoming to people of color.

My son, grandson, his friend and myself were at the beech. Grandson and his friend spent lots of time with the waves. There were lots of people at the beech. I was surprised how warm the water was.

We (wife, sons 19/17, me) came here for on summer day in COVID 19 season. There's a $6 parking fee when there's an attendant on duty. You drive through a neighborhood to get there. There's a picnic area and a playground.
Down by the beach there's volleyball courts. There's plenty of room on the beach to spread out and it's a good view of the lake. The sand on the beach itself is very soft. Once you go into the water it's a tad rocky, but then it's all smooth sand. There's a little wave action, but the water is nice. The day we wer there the beach was clean and no dead fish around. For a little Lake Erie beach action it's highly recommended.

Hi, We are two adults looking to go to a beach before the amusement park. I believe Cedar Point Beach is not accessible on Friday, so we are looking to go to Nickel Plate. Is there a restroom available or changing area? Am I able to to bring alcohol in cans (not bottles). Not looking for a party but just a couple of beers to relax on Friday afternoon.

Though we did not bring alcohol or anything we did see others partaking. We came dressed and ready from our hotel by cedar point, but I recall a building at the entrance to the walk to the beach that may have restrooms and changing area.

I heard this is a nice place to gather sea glass. Is this true?
Yes we have found Seaglass here. A lady we rented a cottage from in the neighborhood told us it's there. Darn, just white pieces though, nothing colorful. It's still fun to look for it.
What are the dates the beach is open

We didn't pay anything at all, but it was a week day too. Maybe weekends are different.

Does it still cost for parking? I went a little while ago and it didn't cost, but someone said that it does.
