We stopped here on a day trip to Huron, and we had a fantastic time. We saw turtles, snakes, swans and geese. We walked the beach, and found the best stones to skip. The pathway is really nice and it's pretty easy to get around.

I could not believe all of the birds, squirrels, and a variety of things seen here. A must is taking unsalted peanuts to feed to squirrels and the birds. Very wonderful place to spend time

Amazing place to visit in the fall, so pretty. There's a nice path from the parking lot out to the beach. Enter the beach on the left side for a beautiful experience.

Many species of birds visit this marsh area all year. Bring your binoculars and camera. Wildlife preserve. The old building at end of trail was a water pumping station to support activities at NASA Plum Brook facility. It is no longer in use.

Nice walk along a straight paved path or wonder off and hike short trails to the lake. The wildlife photography opportunities are abundant. I captured some great images. Another nice thing is it's within walking distance from Sawmill Creek Resort.

This is a very quiet place to go for a walk and see some wildlife. The paths are paved and you can walk to the beach. You may see deer, turtles, many kinds of ducks, beavers, etc. A great place for people who like bird watching.
