I finally visited this after 17 years living in the area less than 10 minutes from this place. Pretty cool to know it was an idea of 1 person who built his dream. Only 20 minutes from Kings Island. Admission is $5 helping with the preservation of the castle and grounds.

This is a small replica of a medieval castle built by one man stone by stone. Its only $5 to get in and you can tour the castle and grounds at your leisure. Sits by the river and is a perfect place for prom and wedding photos! We enjoyed the tour! Its not big and not exactly a real castle,... More

We spent only an hour here, but it was well worth it! The Castle, the Garden, the scenic river, history, and staff all great.

I went today with a friend I haven't seen in years. The sun was out and cool today which made walking through the gardens beautiful. There are so many plants flowers and trees... The grounds are beautiful. It's hard to imagine a single man built this by himself over the span of fifty years. The people that put bad comments... More

Cool stop if you are in town, but very underwhelming in execution. This place just needs to be presented better, host more events, and provide more written history with photos to educate and improve the experience.

Amazing what a man can do with his own two hands. Cute little castle in the middle of suburban Loveland. Fun to climb around with the kids. Nice if you have a spare hour or two. Wouldn't make a special trip just for this.

Having seen many castle in Europe, I was pleasantly surprised by the Loveland castle. Totally a Castle but on a smaller scale. One mans dream..... we have a castle right here to enjoy. Take your time to really look at how it's built. It's incredible.....spend time watching the water move by, listen to nature and enjoying the trees and flowers.... More

I wasn't sure what to expect. The story behind the castle really heightens the interest though. Harry Andrew's dream and his determination for 50 plus years to bring it fruition is really something. He was ingenious in his ideas and techniques. Though it did not transport me back to "The Round Table", it did impress me with his desire and... More

Painstakingly constructed by one man from native stone and then hand-made bricks, it is perpetually guarded by Boy Scouts who have their own heraldic order. Do not expect to find running water, heat or a/c inside because it is as primitive as an outpost on the Welsh coast circa 1300.
