I'm so sorry you found the museum closed! Both museums in town close for the festival for several reasons. One is the parking. We can't control the parking places in front of the museum during the festival, cars fill up the spaces all over town....More

You won't spend a lot of time here but the Museum is well done. Milan is a great little town for a day trip for senior citizens or folks without very young children. Lots of little shops, antiques, a great pizza place, and good ice...More

Vernon, the young guide, was very well informed and made the guided tour interesting. I learned a lot about Edison, his family, and community life at that time.

Great historical sight, knowledgeable and likable guides, as well as within walking distance of a second museum. Scavenger hunt to keep my 9 year old brother happy too. He got some free bubbles out of it.

Thank you so much for your review of your tour......now my job will be to find which of my employees told you that not much is known about Edison's first children! Thank you for coming and for your kind words. Cordially, Lois Wolf

This is a nice museum that is well worth the price. Many of the furnishings are as they were when Edison lived here as a child. What isn't either had family connections or are pieces from the period. Our tour guide, a former school teacher,...More

The birthplace of Edison is a must see when in Mialn, Ohio. One marvels at the size of the house, and wonders how the Edisons ever lived in such a small place. Curators are very knowledgeable, too.More
