If you want to know and understand about the Amish, this is the place to go. The tour that we went on was great. We toured the barn, homes, and school. To end everything we had a buggy ride. Fun for all ages.

Where do you sign up for the Yoder's Amish Home tour and will tours be given in October 2016?

Response from Becky S | Reviewed this property |
When we went, there was no reservation needed. Just drive there and pay admission in gift shop. Not sure about October schedule.
Does anyone know if they will take a credit card?

We are looking into a day trip and thinking of visiting here. Do you pay for the tickets and you get to tour at your own pace, or is there actual times you have to be there to take the tour with a group? Also, are you expected to tip at any time, either the guides or after the buggy ride?

As we experienced it, they were giving tours at pretty regular intervals... maybe every 30 minutes? Tipping... that's a great question. We did not tip, but that might be because it didn't even occur to us! I don't recall... More
