Outdoor memorial with museum inside. The museum was not open at the time, but we enjoyed the statues and information engraved on them. Just took a few minutes to visit, but good historical site.

This is a nice memorial to visit on a sunny day. There is a inside museum that you can visit, but it isn't all that interesting. You can get some really nice pictures in the spring and summer with the flowers in full bloom. I...More

I love history and was surprised to find President McKinley was born in a town that is close to my house. When I found out I had to take my family. We all enjoyed the history that we learned.

We were very rushed for time and so we didn't get to visit the museum. The monument is beautiful. Takes a few minutes to look around.

While driving through downtown on our way to another attraction ( see Lanterman's Mill ) I did a quick U-turn just for curiosity. Glad we stopped. Tastefully done.

Stately monument for an Ohio President in town of his birth. Serving both as memorial and public library, one can visit and enjoy just the exterior sculptures, or ask the librarians to open the museum to view McKinley campaign materials, correspondence and personal artifacts.

I have seen this numerous times growing up in Youngstown and passing it on the way to Niles/Warren area. It is interesting to know that President McKinley was born in my area!

We visited the McKinley memorial and birthplace home last Saturday and were so glad we did. The memorial is beautiful and classic with granite pillars set in a peaceful shady lawn. The statue of the late president is magnificent. Around the memorial are sculpted busts...More
