Visited with my son and girlfriend this week. Not hard to find being it's right next to the Akron-Canton Regional Airport. Museum has aircraft and other artifacts mostly from WWII and the Vietnam War. Another feature is the Gallery of Heroes which is also worth a look. Staff was very courteous and the man working the register in the gift... More

Toured this facility this weekend and found it to be very enjoyable. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the displays are excellent. Several plans are set to allow you to sit in them!

We went with my WWII vet dad, my former aircraft carrier mechanic brother-in-law and a few others including a three year old. All of us, veteran and non-veteran, enjoyed ourselves. The volunteers were very knowledgeable and helpful. There were a few exhibits that kids and adults young at heart could climb in such as a gatlin gun, a blimp gondola... More

If you love any kind of airplane, you will love this. At least once a year a pancake breakfast is held. A good time to view all the contents for a good cause.

The guides there are very knowledgeable and one could spend hours there. Check out the newly acquired F4 Blue Angle Jet.

I took my father to the MAPS Air Museum. He has been several times but this was my first visit. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys museums and/or history. I was surprised at how many planes and other aircraft on display. They offered a tour guide but we opted to tour on our own. The indoor hall of heroes... More

My husband and I visited MAPS this past weekend, and we were very impressed with the aircraft and other memorabilia they had on display (both inside and outside). They are actively restoring several aircraft, which you can see up close and personal. Some of the aircraft you can get into and/or climb stairs to look inside. They have a Hall... More

Stopped by to check out the old planes. It was busy that day as they were having an air show with B17, P51 MUSTANG, AND a B25 and they were offering rides if you paid. It was very crowded that day. It is out of the way and near the airport. It is a small museum but so much to... More
