The construction of the bridge is quite impressive, and it's a nice slice of local history. It's a quick stop that's worth the few minutes you'll spend there and it's a great place to run to (only about 4 miles, round trip, from the heart of campus).

A nice site to visit in Oxford. Take the time to park your car and walk across this lovely bridge. It's a treat to see.

This bridge has been restored very well and it neat to see how they were put together back then. You can walk across it, however the other end is not open. It is in a quiet and quaint area in Oxford, Ohio. If you like old bridges, this is one to see. I used to get my lunch and sit... More

Ride your bike over from downtown Oxford, or enjoy a good hike to visit this site. Several entries into Oxford were once graced by covered bridges like this last one, which remains on its original site (the road has been moved!)

Clearly a historic covered bridge, but not very exciting. Much of it has been replaced, so the feeling one gets is not one seeped in history. It almost has a modern feeling. Nonetheless, it is worth seeing and only takes a few minutes to do so.

We made a visit to check out this historic bridge as there aren't many remaining. It was dusk so as you walk down the bridge, the light sensors kick in and light up the bridge making a cool effect. They also have a sign in front of the bridge so you can read more about it. There's also parking nearby... More

Historic marker gives history of bridge. The back of bridge is enclosed with chain link fencing so can't walk through the bridge. Personally I found this to take away from the atmosphere of bridge. As other reviewer so eloquently put it you like covered bridges, it is one.

If you like covered bridges, this is one. It's a little hard-to-find, look for the stadium at Miami University and it's across the street.
