Went hiking here last weekend with my partner... The trails were vary scenic and the terrain on top of the canyons very unique. Most trails seemed pretty easy but there is definitely something for everyone. The views from on top of the canyon left a bit to be desired but the convenience of this park being so close to the... This park is immaculate, quiet and beautiful! It has an interesting entrance and many nooks in which to camp, hike and rejuvenate. Playgrounds for the kids(any age I guess!) and plenty of shade trees, pavilions and water hydrants for camping, day hiking, family reunions, class reunions, gatherings of all kinds. Bring your own firewood for the campfire rings! Proud to... More

We spend a few hours hiking last weekend during a break in the cold weather. The park is small but has several very nice trails. The views are great and the trails none-to-challenging! And it is relatively close to OKC. Highly recommend this park for a nice afternoon out in nature.

We were passing through and stopped for the night. Water and electric was $22.00 and we got a discount for being a senior. (10%) Nice sites and clean park. Coin operated Showers and regular bathrooms that were heated. Nice trails in the park. Pretty scenery. Steep hill to campground. Unhook tow car before going down. You'll be glad you did!

I love this place. It is simple, quiet, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Activities range from repelling to hiking. The plant life is unique due to the protection of the canyon walls. If you enjoy history, read up on the California Road and other Oklahoma history pre-statehood and then go see where it happened.

I have lived in or around Hinton, OK most of my life. Seems like Red Rock Canyon has always been taken for granted in my life. Red Rock is a great place to camp, especially for tent campers. Lots of hiking trails to explore on the sandrock cliffs. Red Rock has changed over the last 40 years, and more of... More

We just spent four nights RV camping in the canyon, The Walnut camping area seem to be quieter and better for us that are middle aged. The California camp area is good for families with children. Nice playground area. WARNING: If you have a pet do NOT take them on a hiking trail. There are small burs in the grass... More

What a pleasure to return to this park and find it just as perfect as our last visit. We visited in a motorhome and parked in one of the pull-thru spots with water and electric. We are full-time RVers and though we only stayed one night this time, we already look forward to returning.

The drive in is so fun. Careful not to miss the entrance to the park. It's very easy to drive right past as the sign is not close enough to the road. The only downfall is they charge for showers. Other than that it's wonderful.

Thank Gina M
