This zoo is amazing. Almost all of the animals are out all the time. They just had a birth of an elephant here too. Opportunities to feed the giraffes as well. (cost involved) They are opening a whole new section of the zoo this month.

The Oklahoma City Zoo is a very well maintained, modern zoo. In the past several months they have been working on building a new habitat area. They have a good variety of animals, and the habitat layout makes it easy to see them.

Really enjoyed my visit. Pleasant walking zoo. Lots of animals to see, friendly staff. Only downside was literally every vending machine was empty. Bring water if it's a warm day.

Yes. They might ask to look in it, but we saw lots of families with picnics, snacks & water bottles that they had brought in.
