The Myriad Botanical Gardens is one of Oklahoma City’s most beloved public spaces, offering its visitors a 15 acre natural escape in the very heart of the metro known as downtown Oklahoma City. A children’s garden, an off-leash dog park, the Park House restaurant, “splash fountains,” as well as paths for walking and jogging provide guests young and old with a place in which to find solitude with nature or seek community and the company of others. The Myriad Gardens provides an elegant backdrop for events both large and small, ranging from concerts at the Bandshell to intimate weddings in the Crystal Bridge Conservatory. Additionally, the Myriad Gardens offers a variety of horticultural education programs for adults and children. Classes range from story reading, making chocolate, wreath-making workshops to the annual Oklahoma Gardening School and more. Thanks to a multi-million dollar renovation partially funded by the city, as well as a general revitalized interest in a vibrant downtown, the Gardens quickly is becoming an integral symbol of the new Oklahoma City and those who call it home.

Awesome place to stop with children, especially younger ones on a hot day. The water splash pad is sooooo great and there garden playground was fabulous. Perfect place to burn off some energy before getting back in the car when on a road trip.

The indoor exhibit is beautiful, it is a little pricy considering the amount of time you will actually spend inside. So make sure you use a discount card. The sky walk is great and they also have the garden divided into sections with different themes...More

It was a hot and humid day, even more so inside. Love walking the inside facility, especially the catwalk. The grounds were very well kept, lot's of open space so not bumping in to people. Lack of flowering plants outside, but it was late July,...More

Numerous places for the kids to cool off under fountains, tons of fish and ducks to keep the kids entertained, and a nice clean park to enjoy a Sunday stroll.

Went to the garden on a recent trip to visit family. The outside grounds are lovely. Unfortunately, the day we visited it was incredibly hot, so we couldn't really appreciate them fully. The indoor area is amazing. Be warned though: it's full of exotic plants,...More

There was a burger stand called the Ice House, but I believe it closed. There is some sort of events center there, but I think that it provides catering only. There are a handful of restaurants to the North and East that are... More
