This is a taste of early Oklahoma rural life. You have to plan on exploring this historic site because the hours of operation are very limited. However, it is a nice little place to visit.

When my mom visited, we went over to the Harn Homestead for a tour. All but one of the houses (there are 3 plus a school) is self-guided. There is also a modern barn that is used as a wedding venue.

We had a good time! I took my brother and niece and enjoyed it very much. We took lot of pictures of LOTS of interesting things like the car in the Working Barn and the farm equipment that was around the property. We loved it!

Went here with my daughters school field trip and everyone loved it. We want to go back. It was kind of like stepping back in time,

Enjoyed stopping here and learning more of how this area was settled. The property is well cared for and close to the capital.

I set out to tour this bright & early on a Monday morning. I was surprised at how dilapidated the house was. The grounds were interesting, & had a small garden, a barn, a newer event barn, an old schoolhouse (not open on this day),...More
