Mini Getaway from the City

Cute little park with lots of trails. Great for bird sightings and talking a quiet walk. Be sure to look for the beautiful stream over red rocks on the Courage Trail.

We came here in June 2016 with my four kids. The playground was very nice and clean. The structure was beautiful. Looks like nature. The nature building was pretty cool as well. We will def. be coming back here.

They provide two or 3 miles of outdoor walking trails in a wooded area. The trails do not have asphalt or concrete, but I rather dirt and a little bit of gravel which I enjoy. They are open extended hours and do not charge admission.

We were exploring Oklahoma City and looking for a place to "get some steps" in when we found the Martin Park Nature Center. The park seems to be in a renewal stage with lots of construction activity going on in and around the Visitor Center including the Visitor Center itself. We did get some steps in and walk a couple... We have taken our grandkids to Martin Park for years and always enjoyed the trails, nature center, and meandering stream filled with gigantic carp, catfish and turtles to feed. The Nature Center is currently being renovated with almost all exhibits empty. The staff we encountered seemed hurried and not at all friendly. However, the hiking trails still offer a solitude and... Martin Nature Park is a nice place to go and walk. I personally wish they would plant some more native trees and the like because there is a lot of flat, open land that you look at while you walk. I guess that is this area of OK though so it's to be expected. There is a little learning center... More

The nature center itself is a bit odd and lack luster, but there is a nice playground, and the walking trails are great. There's also a pavilion to eat lunch.
