Nice Adjunct to the Mansion

This is 3 museums in one. The house was owned by others and some of it is interesting. The D.A.R., Indian and 101 Ranch also have museums in the house.

The home is fun for history buffs. The home itself is beautiful. It is amazing to see what this family had in Ponca City at that time period. Also the home is also an Indian museum and a Ranch museum so there is so much to read about.

The first Marland home was very large. Beautiful, huge rooms unlike other large homes I've toured from this time period. Self guided tour. The Indian exhibits and the 101 Ranch museum artifacts were also very interesting. The first indoor swimming pool in Oklahoma was in it's basement.

The home is very grand (not as grand as the larger estate) but the additional information on some of the other aspects of the history and culture of Oklahoma are well presented. Admission is just $5 and you can tour it in about an hour.

To go along with our Conoco museum visit it wouldn't be right not to visit the Marland house also, after all E.W. Marland was one of the founders of Conoco Corp. The architecture is awesome and the things this man did for the community is unheard of.. Go visit you won't be disappointed

Marland's Grand Home is the first stop you should make in Ponca City. Also, there are collections of native American and 101 Ranch memorabilia, which will help give a background of the area. Learn the story of E W Marland and the building of this first home, then drive to the Marland Estate and tour the big mansion. The story... More

Beautiful early 1900s home of E. W. Marland. Also has memorabilia from the 101 Ranch Wild West Show and many Native American clothing and artifacts. Interesting and educational.

Last year we saw the Marland Mansion and did not realize he lived in another grand home. This one was beautiful, also. Three floors to see including a DAR museum located in what once was the 3 car garage. Lots of history to view and a BEAUTIFULLY decorated home. Very well labeled as you walk around on self-guided tour. But... More
